You Charge $100/hr.
You're Not Making $100/hr.

Most electrical business owners have never calculated their real hourly rate. The ones who have don't stay at $100 for long.

Calculate Your Real Rate

The Number Nobody Talks About

$100 What You Charge
~$55 What You Actually Earn

Your charge-out rate is not your effective rate. The gap between the two is where most electrical businesses quietly bleed profit, year after year.

Here's what eats into that $100:

Unbilled travel time between jobs. Quoting time that never converts. Callbacks you absorb. Admin hours at night. Material markups you're not capturing. The apprentice you're paying to learn while you work around them.

None of these show up on an invoice. All of them reduce what you actually earn per hour of work performed. The industry average net profit margin for electrical businesses in Australia sits around 8%. That's $8 on every $100 of revenue.

You don't have a revenue problem. You have a leakage problem. And the first step to fixing it is seeing the real number.

Greg Allan didn't study business at university. He started as an electrician and built Response Electricians into one of Perth's most-reviewed electrical companies — 2,000+ five-star reviews and growing, year after year.

Today, Greg lives on the other side of Australia. Response Electricians is run by a General Manager. Greg doesn't do the doing — the business operates through the systems, team, and structure he built. Complete time freedom. The company continues to grow more profitable every year without him on the tools or in the office.

But getting there nearly broke him. Several times over. The pain, the confusion, the late nights wondering if any of it was worth it. Greg's passion for helping other tradies comes from never wanting anyone else to go through what he went through. That's why the Academy exists — and why over 8,000 trade business owners have used it.

Tradie Teams

You've just seen the problem. Here's how 6-8 electricians at your stage solve it together, with a coach who's been where you are.

Same Trade. Same Stage.

Every member is a service electrician at your phase of business. No mixed trades. No one three years ahead making you feel behind. Peers who get your world.

Fortnightly 60-Min Sessions

Four session formats — Strategy, Build, Reflect, Guest — chosen by your coach based on what the group needs. Not a fixed curriculum. Responsive to real problems.

Peer Accountability

You commit to actions in front of 6-8 other sparkies. They're watching. They're doing the same work. That's harder to ignore than a notification from an app.

What Members Are Saying

"Joining Tradies Success Academy was the best decision I ever made. The personalised coaching, structured training, and supportive community gave me the tools I needed to transform my business and my life."
Chris Karavasilis
Saints Electrical, Penshurst NSW — 220+ five-star reviews
"I was working six to seven days a week and still ended up negative $20,000 for the year. I finally understood my numbers, how to hire properly, and how to run the business instead of letting it run me. Work is steadier, profit is consistent, and I feel in control for the first time since starting my business."
Jay Tough

"Now, I have more time to work on the business, less stress, and our profits are growing."

Questions

Why group coaching over one-on-one?
Peer accountability from others in your trade and phase. The group format creates commitment — you're accountable to the group, not just yourself. You'll hear how other sparkies at your stage are solving the same problems, which accelerates your own decisions.
What if I'm ahead of or behind the rest of the group?
Groups are formed by trade type and business phase. If you're significantly out of alignment, our 1:1 coaching program is the better fit. The interview process exists to ensure every member is placed correctly.
When does my group launch?
Minimum 6 members to launch. Maximum 4-week wait from application approval. We won't put people in half-formed groups. You'll only start when the team is ready.
Is this instead of or as well as 1:1 coaching?
It's a parallel product. Some members are in Teams only. Some have both Teams and 1:1. They serve different purposes — Teams gives you peer accountability, 1:1 gives you dedicated individual attention.
Service electricians only?
For now, yes. We're launching with electrical businesses first. Other trades will follow once the model is proven. This ensures every member in your group truly understands your world.
How much does it cost?
$2,000 per month. Billing starts when your group launches — not at application or interview stage. A deposit is taken on acceptance and applied to your first month.
